Experience is like the polishing a stone receives to become a diamond. Dr. Sushil Kumar Chaturvedi is that polished diamond that has led several national and international Telecom organizations. After thirty-five years of experience, he is now the Group Chief Executive Officer of Ascend Telecom since 2012.
An Alumni of Campion school Bhopal, Awarded Bachelors in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering with Honors from NIT Kurukshetra, India. The fabulous leader completed his MBA from the prestigious New York Institute of Technology, USA. He joined the Department of Telecom, Government of India as an ITS officer and started his professional journey as a key member of the Joint Indo Soviet Space program, Avionics Design Bureau, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.
Dr. Sushil Kumar Chaturvedi also managed the largest telecom Navratna PSU as the director of BSNL.
Besides that, Dr. Sushil also served as the Telecom Advisor with the International Telecom Union and was responsible for the telecom development of SADC (South African Development Countries. As the Vice President of GDSS Inc. USA, he pioneered and deployed triple-play services across geographies in Africa and SE Asia. Before Ascend, he served as the dynamic CEO of ORG Informatics Ltd.
Telecom is the lifeline and a major contributor to economic growth, and therefore became Dr. Sushil’s logical professional choice. With the intent to bridge the telecom divide in Indian Urban and Rural Tele-density, he envisaged infrastructure as a service with Ascend Telecom. The project flawlessly aligned with the Digital India Vision of the Honorable Prime Minister, implementing the next-gen world-class telecom services pan India at an affordable cost.

He was presented a PhD from Ecole Supérieure Robert de Sorbon, France. But his achievements are limitless, including the President’s medal for distinguished Telecom services 2001, Director BSNL, Deloitte & Touché Stellar CEO award for fastest growing Telecom/ IT company in the Asia Pacific, 2009, CEO ORG Informatics Ltd, the Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J. Recently, he won the COVID-19 Hero award by NASSCOM and the Best Telecom Company of the Year award 2020 by National Industrial Excellence Awards. A wonderful father to two, and with exceptional support from his wife, Dr. Sushil Kumar Chaturvedi has become one the most admired global Indians today.
