Dr. GK Ganapathy Reddy, Founder, Chairman, Stayfit Health And Fitness World Pvt. Ltd. Shares his entrepreneurial journey on improving the fitness and health industry of India.

Fondly called as ‘Stayfit Reddy’, Dr. GK Ganapathy Reddy has been providing fitness solutions across India for over 2 decades. He was instrumental in bringing the best of global Fitness Brands to India, in collaboration with the World’s largest Fitness company, ICON Health & Fitness Inc, USA. He is the recipient of the Global Fitness Award for his outstanding contribution to expanding Fitness Business in India.

GK Ganapathy Reddy founded Stayfit in 1996. A pioneer and the fastest-growing premier Fitness Company, has been in Health and Fitness business for nearly 25 years, catering to various segments and strata of society. Currently, Stayfit has its chain of fitness equipment showrooms in 33 locations across India, with over 300 fitness experts and lakhs of satisfied customers across the country.

Retaining customers by forming meaningful partnerships, Stayfit also ensures to keep improving customer experience, through the use of enhanced interactive technology and feedback systems., at the touch of their fingers via tablets and smart TVs. Dr. Reddy shares, ‘We are providing performance reports, training tutorials, to enhance the user experience. The Building Healthy India Mission (BHIM) is the brain-child of Gurukulam Ganapathy Reddy. He launched BHIM with a vision to equip people with the most innovative and cost-effective fitness products which enable people to be fit & healthy.

The Stayfit walkathon’ was initiated by him, being conducted in Bangalore and with the promise to spread “fitness awareness” across the country is on the cards. As a part of building a “healthy India”, he has evolved India’s first-ever health publication called Stayfit Health & Lifestyle Magazine. Stayfit Magazine is dedicated for Physical, Mental, Emotional & Spiritual Well-being of people.

Dr. Reddy has received the most prestigious “International Icon Award” from International Economic Studies Summit along with the honorary doctorate for Building Healthy India Mission. He is the recipient of ‘The Global Fitness Award’ for his outstanding contribution to expanding Fitness Business in India. Dr. Reddy is also the recipient of UDYOG RATAN AWARD in recognition of his achievements and dedication towards the Corporate sector.

India has evolved into a new fitness and gym industry primarily amongst the youth. Considering the potential, Dr. Reddy launched large and medium format spaces as the Stayfit centers, with a vision of 1000 STAY FIT Hubs across the country in the next 4 years. The company has ventured into Food & Beverage and in its highly successful first offering is the ORSFit, the instant energy drink, as the perfect post-workout drink. Currently headquartered in Bangalore, Dr. Reddy plans to reach Super Markets, Corporates, Educational Institutions Pan India, with an array of nutritious, healthy food and drinks.

Dr. GK Ganapathy Reddy has opened – Gurukulam Global Residential School spread over 20 acres, as one of its kind offering our children with the best of labs, a well-equipped gym, a large library, and ever-evolving sports facilities. He also successfully runs Kids Montessori Schools for young children, in lieu of his 360-degree holistic approach to health and fitness.
