Aarti Chabria was born in Mumbai to wonderful parents Dr. Ashok and Sunita Chabria. She was a sincere student, very inclined towards academics and spirituality. Aarti always looked forward to the weekends to pursue her creative passion doing television commercials as a child model and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of shooting over 300 advertisements endorsing the best brands like Farex, Maggi, to name a few. In November 1999, she participated in a beauty pageant as the youngest contestant and was crowned Miss India Worldwide. At 17, her experience in front of the camera and winning the pageant gave her the confidence and boost required to pursue her dreams.
Aarti never thought of acting as a profession; her weekend hobby slowly became her profession. She did films for the love of everything creative it entailed. Her first film was a cameo in Rajkumar Santoshi’s Lajja, after which she signed her debut as the lead actress in a film produced by Venus, called Tumse Achha Kaun Hai. During the making of Tumse Acha Kaun Hai, Aarti auditioned for Awara Paagal Deewana opposite Akshay Kumar and bagged the role, it went on to be the most appreciated film that people love to date. These opportunities carved the path for her as an actor in the Hindi film industry and simultaneously opened doors to Telugu films and Kannada films. Aarti participated and won a ‘stunt based’ reality show called Khatron Ke Khiladi – Fear Factor. Being new to the industry with no primary backing or connections was challenging; however, she did some good films, and gained massive appreciation for her talent and hard work.
When Aarti was asked what she finds, is her life’s purpose, she said: she finds her purpose in life by entertaining others by her performances and helping others to achieve their goals and desires. During COVID, Aarti started an initiative, a live chat series on Instagram called Secrets of a Victorious Mind, where she interviews impactful people around the world that are authors, gurus, grandmasters, psychologists, doctors, and other remarkable people. As a host, she encourages them to share unique ways to promote wellness, mindset methods and holistic growth to positively affect her audience.
With the success and appreciation she received for Secrets of A Victorious Mind, Aarti started her online coaching platform – Victorious Mind Power.
As an actor-director, it’s natural for Aarti to be a creative mindset coach. She created her first flagship mindset program called The Perfect Soulmate Program, a 10-week intensive self-work program for struggling singles to attract their true soulmates. She’s driven by the success stories of her students, especially when they find true love within or shortly after intensive self-work.
Being a strong believer in the Universal laws, Aarti looks forward to giving more than receiving, setting off a chain reaction attracting abundance in her life.
Success didn’t come easy, but Aarti stayed the course following her innermost callings, even if it didn’t match what people expected of her.
She went to study Film Making, bang in the middle of her career, and graduated from The New York Film Academy. She then produced and directed her first 30-minute short film which was no less than a mini feature called “Mumbai Varanasi Express”. This won numerous International Film Awards, screened at various Film Festivals, and was bought for big bucks, by a renowned media house that released it on their YouTube channel!
Aarti’s relationships are built on a solid foundation of pure unconditional love. Spending quality time chatting with family, discussing the day, troubleshooting where needed gives her immense pleasure. She loves Yoga, Pranayama, and being in nature thrills her. She feels rejuvenated with music and working on her online coaching platform Victorious Mind Power, elates her.
Her future endeavours include projects in which she will act and direct. Aarti’s path as an actor is not driven by fame but genuine empathy towards emotions in real-life situations and being able to portray them. She lives not just to entertain and coach, but to inspire.
Aarti’ message for the youth is that you are limitless, don’t bind yourself by the expectations of what others have from you. There is no rule that says you can be or do only one thing in your life. Follow your dreams and enjoy every bit of every day.
