Mentoring You Towards ‘Divintastical Living’
As Founder of the ‘Divintastical Living’ movement and institute, Jenn Drakes finds joy in helping those at a disadvantage – the supposed underdogs of the world. For Jenn, this is familiar territory, and her response to those in need is instinctive and effortless.
Especially because she spent a lifetime being impacted by others’ impressions of her. She marveled at those that were convinced they could tell her who she was, what she was capable of, and where or how far she could go in life. Too dark, too short, too young, too female, too smart, too skilled, too diversified, etc. One amusing impression was that she’s too passionate: “That one I heard a little later in life and it’s the one which held me back career-wise. Even as a child, I could see that those with the greatest certainty of opinions had lives that were a red hot mess involving infidelities, promiscuity, abuse, alcoholism, and blatant dysfunction. I ended up being angry, fearful, uncomfortable in my own skin, and learning to stay in the lane that was defined for me.”
These experiences and schooling moments taught Jenn that life is what you make of it. She knew she needed to get over her SHITES (Stuff Harboured Inside That Eventually Sabotages). One day when she had had enough, she decided to do just that. She blocked all the unnecessary external ‘noise’ and spent years working on herself. Eventually, she was able to let go of her baggage and replace it with new resources and tools that elevated her mindset and protected her personal space. This helped her make sense of the past and move into divine intent. What unfolded was lessons that pushed her to live life fully, serve in a different, more profound way, and thrive in living divintastically.
In time, Jenn obtained her professional designations for change management as well as ABNLP, ABTLT and ABH Board certified designations for neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), time-line therapy (TLT), and hypnotherapy. Additionally, she became an author and a speaker. “It is all about changing perspectives to change lives. Seeing the transformation of others literally lights me up, especially when the person comes into alignment with their full potential.”
Jenn’s inspiration to help others tap into their gifts, have a voice, and empower their sense of worthiness has touched millions of lives. “I advocate for living life fully, and that is coaching people how to use their energy for purpose-driven actions that positively contribute to themselves and their communities. Every person should have at least one coach/mentor/advisor at the strategic and tactical levels of building their lives to cover their mental, emotional, physical and spiritual dimensions. My message is to take action, cultivate mindset shifts, change internal narratives, and come out explosively empowered to live intentionally, exponentially, and to achieve more than anyone, even you, imagined.”
The Divintastical Living movement and institute based in Canada is all about triggering awakenings, conversations, reflections and explorations of ourselves and the world around us. When Jenn speaks, it is to ignite self-awareness, a passion for life, and fully living it with gumption. “I deliver experiences. When I mentor, it is to uplift and get you where you wish to be – what I call a Divintastical Living state.” She also supports speaking engagements, writing articles that provide intriguing perspectives, delivering courses through the Divintastical Living Institute, and delivering ongoing support through the ‘Arrays of Living’ podcast and the ‘Get Awesome’ show. In March 2023, she kicked-off a 9-city Catalytic Wellness Tour to reach out to people personally.
In her podcast – Arrays of Living, Jenn recently spoke about Life As An Equation. Those episodes highlighted, in mathematical terms, what elements should be managed to achieve the optimal character to manifest one’s desires. This new approach to life has proven that miracles do occur; where seemingly unassociated things eventually reveal an ordained path. Thus for Jenn, it’s not about luck or hard work, but about standing fully behind what we want in our destiny. That divine path is littered with achievements that are never hard yet might seem lucky to some, feels Jenn.
We ask her what she considers her biggest achievement, and she surprises us yet again: “My greatest achievement is that of a parent of four children, who are individually different yet strangely connected. That is followed by the publication of my book – Aladdin Carpets, which I owe to Kemba Drakes, an author herself and ironically, in whose penmanship footsteps I followed, not the other way around. I was also an Honoree of the BRAINZ Magazine 2021 CREA Global Awards in recognition for creative and innovative ideas, adaptability in business, and contribution to sustainability and mental health projects.” Way to go, Jenn!
