A Perseverant Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker and Author
Erica, an African American girl, had the privilege of growing up in different states in America. This allowed her to experience diverse cultures, people, and social systems firsthand. She used her experiences to write a book called “Trapped in the Homeless Hustle,” which chronicles her journey and the many lessons she learned along the way about empathy, open-mindedness, and the importance of diversity and inclusion. Getting older, she found a passion for technology and became a techie. This journey taught her the value of hard work, perseverance, and continuous learning whilst also discovering the power of technology to create positive change in the world.
“As a motivational speaker and author, I’ve had the opportunity to share my experiences with others and inspire them to pursue their dreams. Through this work, I’ve learned the importance of authenticity, vulnerability, and connecting with others on a deeper level,” exclaims Erica. Overall, experiential learning has taught her the value of embracing new experiences, learning from others, and constantly pushing herself to grow and evolve.
As a tech enthusiast and someone who has always been interested in entrepreneurship, Erica grasped the opportunity to combine those interests by creating a platform that could help connect aspiring tech entrepreneurs with resources and guidance to turn their ideas into successful businesses. This gave birth to ‘Tech Nerds World’. The idea behind Tech Nerds World was to create a community where people could come together to learn, share ideas, and collaborate on projects. Providing a space where people could access valuable resources like mentorship, funding opportunities, and educational content that could help them build the skills they needed to succeed in the tech industry was the primary goal. “As Tech Nerds World grows, I’m excited to be developing it into a full-fledged professional portfolio that offers a comprehensive suite of services to help tech entrepreneurs succeed. In addition to our existing offerings like online courses and mentorship programs, we’re expanding into new areas like venture capital and startup incubation to provide even more support to the tech community.”
Erica believes that everyone should have access to the resources they need to succeed in the tech industry, regardless of their background or experience level. This is the reason for her commitment in creating a platform that is inclusive, supportive and empowering for all tech entrepreneurs! She believes that with a focus on innovation and community building, Tech Nerds World will continue to be a driving force in the tech industry for years.
Over the years, Erica Moseley has faced numerous challenges, from finding the right team members to securing funding and scaling our operations. However, her firm belief was that hard work and persistence are the keys to success in any industry. While luck can undoubtedly play a role in business success, it’s ultimately up to us to create opportunities and make the most of them, she adds. This means putting in long hours, taking calculated risks, and constantly learning and adapting to new challenges.
The biggest lesson she derived was the importance of surrounding oneself with a strong network of mentors, advisors and fellow entrepreneurs. Erica has learnt from others’ experiences, gained valuable feedback and support and stayed motivated even in the face of setbacks due to this.
As an author, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, coder, community developer, and influencer, she has been fortunate enough to appear on TV shows and billboards and even get verified on Google. Recognition for my work came through awards and accolades that highlight her accomplishments, and she’s also been featured in various publications! All this was done due to her passion and desire to break barriers and inspire others to pursue their dreams, regardless of their background or circumstances. She remains committed to using her knowledge, skills, and experience to create positive change and empower others to succeed. Erica exclaims, “my work is fueled by a deep sense of purpose and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the world. As an urban black girl in a competitive world, I know that challenges and obstacles will come my way, but I am confident in my abilities and know I have what it takes to overcome them and achieve my goals.”
On a very challenging path, her determination and perseverance have made Erica believe that anything is possible. So she asks the readers to join her on this journey of growth and success. As she continues to help others achieve their goals, she urges people to navigate through life’s uncertainties and strive to uplift each other to create a world where everyone has equal opportunities for success! Lastly, she adds that believing in your capabilities, taking calculated risks, surrounding yourself with positive and supportive people and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone to seek new challenges are the key mantras to success.
