As a small business owner, Dr. Linette Montae faced significant challenges following the 2008 recession. Even with her extensive business consulting experience, she encountered obstacles in the world of online entrepreneurship, such as a lack of website, email, social media accounts, and technical knowledge. Despite working 80 hours a week for 18 months, she saw no profits, learning crucial lessons and writing her first book, “Passion Won’t Pay the Bills.” Dr. Montae now places her “It’s About Mindset™” message at the center of everything she does, emphasizing the power of positive thinking.
Dr. Linette Montae is deeply passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of others and empowering them to unleash their full potential. Her personal mantra is “LIVE the legacy you want to leave™,” and she is committed to enabling women trailblazers, thought leaders, and innovators to “Live Happy, Lead Healthy, and Leave Wealthy!” Dr. Montae is motivated by her conviction that women have the power to create a more inclusive and dynamic world for themselves, others, and future generations.
She expresses, “Women are often defined by the labels given to us and the societal expectations that come with them. As daughters, sisters, mothers, wives, leaders, etc., we are bombarded with what others believe we should do, say, eat, wear, think, and desire. However, when women continually adapt to fit another box they have been put in, it doesn’t take long before we lose sight of who we are and why we are here.” Dr. Montae firmly believes that women should align with their purpose to achieve holistic well-being and harmony in every aspect of their lives.
Inspired by her mother’s resilience in the face of workplace gender bias, Dr. Linette Montae has spent over 30 years as a high-profile leader breaking down barriers and defying societal limitations. Now, she is committed to empowering women and teenage girls to align their lives with their feminine energy and make a positive impact in the workplace and the world.
Dr. Linette Montae’s academic journey started at the age of 16 when she enrolled in college.
