Psychologist, Reproductive Health Specialist & Founder of Ruda Viva
“To every woman reading this, know that your body holds incredible wisdom,” begins the charismatic Constanza Araujo Nagore. As a licensed psychologist, specialist in fertility awareness methods, and holistic reproductive health practitioner, Constanza has dedicated her career to empowering women to connect with their bodies and menstrual cycles.
Based in Mexico City, Mexico, she began her journey as a licensed psychologist, driven by a deep desire to support women’s mental and emotional well-being. Early in her career, she worked with women affected by human trafficking through sex work, which strengthened her commitment to advocating for women’s empowerment.
“My inspiration began while working with women affected by trafficking and sexual exploitation, where I witnessed how deeply fertility impacts every aspect of a woman’s life. At the same time, I discovered the symptothermal method and was amazed by how much I could learn about myself through observing my fertility signs. These experiences ignited my passion for empowering women with fertile knowledge. My goal is to be a global, and especially Latin American, advocate, creating safe spaces where women can reclaim their cycles with love and respect.”
Over time, Constanza shifted her focus to reproductive health, specializing in fertility awareness and menstrual education. Founding Ruda Viva became a pivotal moment, allowing her to merge her experience and passion into a platform that empowers individuals to embrace their cycles and fertility with compassion, love, and responsibility.
Through her work at Ruda Viva, Constanza has created a safe space where women, couples, and menstruating individuals can access science-based and holistic guidance to understand their fertility and overall health. Her passion lies in combining evidence-based practices with an empathetic approach to help women make conscious, informed decisions about their reproductive well-being.
“My work is dedicated to supporting women through educational workshops, personalized consultations, and collaborations with universities and organizations. A core aspect of my mission is fostering a sense of community, where women feel empowered to connect with their bodies, understand their cycles, and embrace their fertility.”
Throughout her career, Constanza has been recognized for her dedication to women’s health and empowerment. Some of her accolades include:

o Licensed Psychologist – 2021, Mexico City. Degree awarded by Universidad Iberoamericana.

o Her work has been featured in various publications and workshops, and she has been invited to give talks on fertility awareness and reproductive health at universities.
However, Constanza’s greatest strength lies in building deep connections with women. Active listening and adaptability are central to her approach, ensuring that each person feels seen and supported. By integrating psychology with practical tools, she helps women make informed decisions about their health, and cultivate self-awareness, compassion, and confidence in every stage of their journey.
As a woman herself, does it ever get challenging to balance the many facets of professional and personal life? “I balance professional and personal challenges by aligning my routines with my cyclical nature, respecting the natural shifts in energy and emotions throughout my menstrual cycle. Starting my mornings with my dogs at the park and prioritizing meditation helps me stay grounded, while honouring rest during lower-energy phases ensures sustainable well-being. Clear boundaries protect my personal time, allowing me to recharge and remain fully present for the women I support and the projects I care about.”
In her personal time, Constanza enjoys starting her mornings with yoga, which helps her connect with herself and sets a positive tone for the day. Walking her dogs in the park is another must — it’s her moment to find inspiration and boost creativity. She also loves hiking, as being in nature allows her to recharge and feel grounded. And she absolutely adores spending time with Santiago, her family, and her close friends, sharing moments that bring her joy and connection. For Constanza, unwinding is all about balance and meaningful connections.
Sharing that wisdom in words, she suggests, “Take the time to listen to your body, embrace its rhythms, and trust your unique journey. Remember, small steps toward self-care and connection can create transformative change. You have the power to make decisions rooted in love and respect for yourself. Let’s break the taboos, celebrate our bodies, and inspire one another to live in harmony with our cyclical nature.”
