Scripting A Saga Of Success
The tech-savvy founder of Aquaterra since 2005, Elaine Christine is the #1 best-selling author of The Peace Prophecy trilogy and host of the Peacemakers podcast. She believes that happiness comes from finding your God-given gifts and using them to the best of your ability for the greater good. In 2024, she was honored as one of the Global Game Changers with a feature story in Passion Vista Luxury, Lifestyle & Business Magazine. She also published nine articles as an Executive Contributor for Brainz Magazine, a platform for influential leaders, top entrepreneurs, and expert coaches.
Born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Elaine Marie is the middle child of five girls educated in Catholic schools. Her parents divorced when she was 11 years old, creating a deep wound that led to a transformative healing journey in mid-life. After her textbook, Managing Risk: Methods for Software Systems Development, was published, Elaine attended a spiritual conference in Miami that inspired her to write a process for world peace. As a steward of this 6-Step Peace Process, she hosted the World Peace Telesummit (2015–2021) and continues to train her signature program, the Peacemakers eCourse.
From the Boomer generation, Elaine is a trailblazer who helped to pave the way for women in Computer Science and Software Engineering. She developed MacMuscle™, one of the first products created for the Apple Macintosh Computer. Her fitness program was used by an obstetrician, Douglas Hall, to train the police force in Ocala, Florida. That doctor hired her to develop Wellness in Pregnancy™, the first in-office use of the Apple Macintosh Computer for women.
Elaine shared her struggle to overcome adversity, “After ten years together, my first marriage ended in divorce. Not playing the victim, I took flying lessons to focus on something more positive and productive. Now, in the pilot’s seat for my exam, the weather began deteriorating. The FAA instructor radioed the control tower and asked for clearance so I could do my maneuvers above the clouds. I did a power-on and power-off stall, recovering the high-wing Cessna 172. That’s when I realized the sun is always shining!”
Often asking for heavenly help and inviting angelic assistance, Elaine leads by example. For discernment, she begins with a simple question, “What would Jesus do?” She reveals, “After a few years of role-playing the bride of Christ as a scribe and messenger, Jesus informed me, ‘If you want to be part of this family, you’ll have to run everything by my mother.’ When I asked Mother Mary for a message, she offered, ‘Love all, serve all.’ And that is why I bring east and west together, moving forward through a feminine lineage, offering peace to every mind.”
Elaine met Tom Gorsuch, and they were married by the Justice of the Peace. She explains, “It was the second marriage for both of us, so we eloped and brought a cake home for Tom’s children, Ryan, age 7, and Erika, age 3. Our honeymoon was a week skiing the resorts around Park City, Utah. Ryan learned to ski and said it was his first honeymoon! We decided on a wedding theme when Tom and I posed with his convertible for a charity calendar. As we celebrate our 32nd anniversary, our family has grown with seven grandchildren.”
One of Elaine’s strengths is believing in the value of higher education. She gained confidence from persevering to earn a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology. Her doctoral dissertation is Proactive Risk Management Methods for Software Engineering Excellence (1995). Elaine’s peer-reviewed textbook, Managing Risk: Methods for Software Systems Development, was published by Addison-Wesley Longman (1998). The textbook was translated into Mandarin Chinese at the University of Beijing (2002).
After 20 years, Elaine left a lucrative career to become a certified Bikram Yoga Instructor and pursue a passion for physical health, mental well-being, and spiritual growth. Her motivation stems from an illumination of conscience while walking the beach in Indialantic, Florida, on August 5, 2000. She notes, “The experience of this vision as a peace symbol glowing neon violet led me to create a spiritual sandbox, Yoga with Christine, and study profound spiritual teachings such as A Course in Miracles and the Way of Mastery (2001–2004).”
Traveling abroad to understand and appreciate different cultures, Elaine loves learning and sharing her experiences to encourage and uplift others. Her trilogy, The Peace Prophecy, was self-published (2009, 2015, 2019). She was inducted into Marquis Who’s Who in America® for her literary accomplishments (2021). Recently, she contributed to the #1 best-selling book in Christian Leadership, The Abundant Life: Top Thought-Leaders Share Their Secrets for Living an Extraordinary Life (2025). Her legacy extends through the website, DrElaineChristine.com, where she promotes the Christine Community, training and certifying students in peace-building methods.
