Born in India, Amulya’s professional journey began at Satyam Computers (now part of Mahindra Satyam) as a software developer. Moving to the US allowed her to explore new opportunities, and she focused on gaining expertise in data engineering, cloud computing, and big data.
Once she discovered AI’s transformative potential, she redirected her focus toward developing intelligent AI agents and automation solutions that empower businesses to scale efficiently, enhance customer experiences, and streamline operations. Recognizing the growing need for smart, adaptive systems, she envisioned a future where technology works seamlessly in service of human goals. This vision laid the foundation for Astra Gen AI Agency—her bold step toward shaping the future of business through AI-powered innovation.
“My inspiration stems from my curiosity and love for technology’s ability to solve everyday problems. Over the years, I really worked to expand my knowledge. The growing impact of AI on businesses sparked my desire to create innovative solutions. This drove me to establish Astra Gen AI Agency, with the goal of helping businesses embrace AI for smarter operations and automation.”
Currently based in Texas, USA, Amulya has achieved a perfect amalgamation of science and spirituality. For instance, her journey with the Bhagavad Gita not only helped her memorize its 700 verses but also taught her valuable lessons in time management and balancing personal, professional and social responsibilities. The discipline and resilience she gained from these teachings helped her overcome challenges, including the loss of her parents, and shaped her mindset. Inspired by the Gita’s wisdom, she felt a strong desire to serve others, which led her to contribute on platforms like Topmate.

As a women’s leader in STEM, how does Amulya balance the challenges in her professional and personal life, we ask her. “Balancing requires setting priorities and being mindful of what matters most in the moment. I ensure there’s time for both work commitments and personal life, recognizing the importance of both. By staying organized, taking regular breaks, and learning to delegate, I maintain a healthy balance. This allows me to stay focused without feeling overwhelmed.”
Amulya’s curiosity about the universe, cosmic energy, and meditation inspires her to explore both spiritual teachings and scientific perspectives. Influenced by Joe Dispenza and Sadhguru, she finds balance through nature walks and music, which keep her grounded and centered.
However, what she cherishes most is spending quality moments with her family. Her husband, Lingareddy Alva, has always encouraged her to aim higher, reminding her that setting ambitious goals is essential to succeeding in today’s competitive world. While balancing the demands of family life with two wonderful children — Hasini Reddy Alva and Harini Reddy Alva — can be challenging at times, it has also been incredibly rewarding. With her family’s love and support, Amulya has been able to find balance, grow personally and professionally, and remain focused on their shared aspirations.
In addition, she holds her parents’ teachings close to her heart. “I am deeply grateful to my parents for giving me everything I needed to stand on my own. I dedicate my achievements to them, hoping that my father, Barenkabavi Yudham Reddy, feels proud watching my success from the outer world. My grandfather, Gummi Madhava Reddy, has been the most influential person in my life. I spent all my school holidays with him, learning about scriptures and ancient traditions, which I treasure deeply. His wisdom shaped my values, and I carry his teachings with me every day.”
Amulya began the Gita memorization program under the divine guidance of Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji, initiated by Srikanth Datta Ji. When she lost her parents midway, she was overwhelmed with grief and felt unable to continue. “Thankfully, Srikanth Datta Ji reminded me that chanting sacred Sanskrit verses was the highest punya I could offer for their peace in the outer world. He taught me that life is fleeting, and by continuing with inner strength and purpose, we honor our loved ones beyond this realm. Trust in God’s plan, keep faith in His guidance, and rise with courage through every challenge.”
