With over 17 years of extensive experience as a Lead Quality Analyst in Automation and ETL, he has played a key role in various automation tools, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. Speaking about his passion, he says, “What fuels my passion is the ever evolving nature of technology. The constant need to learn, adapt, and innovate keeps me motivated. The greatest reward comes from seeing a problem solved — whether through automation, AI-driven solutions, or process optimizations — and knowing that it has a tangible impact on teams, businesses, and overall efficiency.”
Santosh’s professional curve reflects a deep-rooted interest for automation, anti-money laundering (AML), regulatory compliance, machine learning solutions, and data engineering. The idea behind it was to bridge the gap between traditional software testing and the evolving landscape of AI/ML, automation, and ETL. His core vision is to optimize testing, data validation, and process automation.
Each new project imparted Santosh new technical skills and invaluable lessons in collaboration with diverse teams. In the early years of his career, he had the opportunity to work with the UFT automation tool, which enhanced efficiency by reducing manual efforts through intelligent scripts and self-healing test cases. Later, he developed bots using Robotic Process Automation and Machine Learning.
In every project, he encountered a unique set of challenges too. One of the biggest hurdles was the time-consuming process of validating 150 tables in ETL testing. To address this, he developed a regression test suite using ETL Validator, which significantly reduced testing time while ensuring accuracy and consistency. Another challenge was adapting to the ever evolving landscape of automation, AI/ML, and regulatory compliance, particularly in AML and data governance. Additionally, implementing AI/ML driven solutions often met resistance, as organizations were hesitant to transition from traditional testing and data validation approaches. To overcome this, he focused on building proof-of-concept models and designing targeted presentations to clearly demonstrate the tangible benefits of automation. This approach helped gain stakeholder confidence and drive adoption of innovative solutions.
By leading teams, optimizing processes, and implementing cutting-edge technologies, Santosh has consistently taken bold steps to stay ahead of the curve. Throughout his professional journey, he has been honored with several prestigious awards:
