A leading Chartered accounting and taxation consultant in India and abroad, the brilliant Puneet Kumar Singh was always cut out for the best.
Having obtained his early education from the prestigious Sanjeewan Vidyalaya, Panchgani, Puneet completed his B.Com from Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce in 2006. The following year, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and started his own practice. Inspired by his father, he also obtained a law degree while practicing as an accountant.
Puneet’s father was the Late Shri Anil Kumar Singh, an Advocate and renowned authority on the Indian business and tax system. After his sudden demise in 2009, Puneet took over his practice and today, the M/s Puneet Kumar and Co is a leading accounting and taxation firm with an aggregate experience of more than 40 years.

Being a good leader and putting people first is something Puneet has always practiced, even during the pandemic. He collaborated with a team of reputed Doctors and launched a telemedicine platform ‘Ecure’ to provide online Covid consultation at Rs 1 to everyone who needed it. Furthermore, the firm adopted quickly by taking its audit and compliances services online to keep working despite the cloud of the pandemic.
With over 15 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant, Puneet is constantly innovating to provide the best services to his clients by establishing new verticals in the legal field. Speaking about his passion, he says, “When one enjoys his work and has a passion to serve others, no other motivation is required. I love to travel and my work takes me across borders to unique locations where I get an opportunity to study different international taxation systems and tax practices. This knowledge is then applied in our firm to grow further.”

Puneet’s company is a legacy firm with a huge appetite to grow and become an international firm providing leading services across the Globe with a short term plan of opening international offices in Dubai and Singapore in the next five years.

To which he replies, “The balance between personal-professional life is very important and for me, it is quite easy. With a sound time management and work allocation system in place, all our team members too are able to manage their time between both work and family.”
