What is your purpose in life? When I heal my wounds, attain a karmic depth, balance my chakras, and live a balanced life, it not only helps me connect with my inner child but also helps me turn the impossible into reality.”
The ability to innovate and empathize has taken Kinjal to the pinnacle of her profession. Born and raised in Ahmedabad Gujarat (India), Kinjal moved to the US when she was 16. She completed her Masters in Biology and published a Thesis Research in Neuroscience. She followed it up with volunteer work in different medical facilities such as emergency medicine, internal medicine, radiology departments, and neuroscience; worked as a lab assistant in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, and stem summer programs; became a technician, program coordinator, and assistant professor; and even handled data management at Pfizer. She also worked at Dunkin Donuts part time for 12 years, where she learned how to run a business.
However, she always circled back to cooking for friends and family as a form of release. This love for healthy cooking practices helped Kinjal overcome her own problems as well as help others. She cooked every vegan recipe conceivable – from sweet to savory and everything in between, and shared more than 600 vegan recipes on social media, all of which culminated in a published e-cookbook in 2022 – Swasthya.
Today, through her firm – www.swasthyabykinjal.com, Kinjal is helping people make healthy choices. “My kitchen is my lab where I experiment with new ingredients to create unique flavors. It is where I have learned everything – grocery supply, demand, needs, expansion, management, research, creating new websites, blogs, making new reels, editing videos, and much more.”
A prime focus area for Kinjal is helping postnatal women regain confidence, value, and self respect, through healthy foods, self care, exercise, sleep, mental awareness, yoga, mindfulness, meditation, and intermittent fasting. She feels the role of a mother in ensuring a healthy household is grossly underestimated in the modern world. She thus provides free videos on vegan food recipes and weight loss as means of women empowerment via her social media channels.
Always looking to add value, Kinjal joined the Life Force Academy to obtain in-depth information on yoga, asanas, pranayama, body types, and gunas. She also made suggestions to the APHA president to improve healthcare, and shared her ideas with USDA to make organic food cheaper for everyone.
In addition, she runs a convenience store with her husband as a business partner. They’re in the process of bringing global OTC and prescription drugs to retail and online 24/7 by shipping straight to consumers to reduce costs. In addition to a simple ordering process and efficient delivery, they also provide expert advice and guidance, discreet services, and return and exchange policy on prescription drugs, which makes them a rare one-stop-shop in the health market.
Kinjal has also played a starring role in various social endeavors, starting with uniting the Swasthya Parivar with the World Vegan Vision. In her role as Wellness Coach, she is working on bringing Veganism Awareness and Sustainability to the world. In addition, she’s producing Vegan Cooking Competition shows to increase awareness about healthy and sustainable cooking practices.
A self-made leader, Kinjal has faced her fair share of challenges. “In keeping alive my search for light, love, peace, and freedom, I’m in competition only with myself. My mantra is – Draw boundaries, stay away from drama, accept myself, and observe to think before taking action.”
Things that inspire Kinjal are music, listening, and watching women warrior TV series, movies, and documentaries. She desires to regenerate respect for mothers and bring back value to everyday use of materialism. Her message to all the mothers out there is: “Heal yourself first to heal others. Make time for mental awareness, self belief, self care, compassion, sleep, good habits, work-life balance, etc. Help others to help yourself grow as a unique entity.”
