An emerging Global Leader in Healthcare Digital Technology, Suman Narne’s rise to prominence can be traced to his policy of ‘people first’. 

Growing up in a close-knit, middle-class family in Palukur Kandukur, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, Suman’s father, a B.Com graduate, instilled in him a strong sense of organization, while his mother, despite having completed only ninth grade, fostered his love for reading. His supportive brother, who studied at Mysore RIE and Badruka Institute of Foreign Trade, is now settled in Canada.

Suman completed his schooling from ZPHS school and was a standout student in both school and college, excelling academically and in extracurricular activities. As someone who came from an agricultural background, Suman harbored a passion for farming from a young age, often expressing his desire to own a tractor. However, inspired by his grandfather’s struggle against diabetes, he decided to become a doctor. He had just begun to pursue a career in the medical field, when circumstances led him to shift his focus to Information Technology.

His fascination with computers took wings when he started using his brother’s laptop. Later, he obtained a BE in Electronics and Communication, followed by an MBA in Information Technology. His professional journey began in data warehousing (DWH), SQL and soon, he had the opportunity to work with prestigious companies such as ManpowerGroup, PwC, Pepsi, HCL, Headstrong, Cargill Foods, Wolters Kluwer, PharmMD, and PopHealthcare. 

Despite such a varied experience, one common thread prevailed: his desire to serve others. He found his niche in healthcare, where he continues to derive job satisfaction from cleaning up data discrepancies and fulfillment from serving patients. 

Today, Suman is the Director of Product Development at AdhereHealth, LLC in the US. Within this role, he leads transformative initiatives in Health Plan Management, taking projects from concept to execution.

On a wider scale, his business strategy focuses on customer-centricity, innovation, quality, sustainability, security, and transparent communication to stand out in the marketplace. By prioritizing customer needs and preferences, tailoring products and services, and staying ahead of market trends through innovation, the company ensures maximum value and satisfaction for its clients. As a Healthcare IT Director, Suman’s professional contribution to strengthening the economy revolves around leveraging technology to drive efficiency, improve patient care, and enhance overall healthcare outcomes through strategic IT initiatives. One significant aspect of his contribution is leading initiatives to implement electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital healthcare solutions. 

He focuses on optimizing IT systems to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration among healthcare providers, which in turn reduces healthcare costs and increases healthcare accessibility. He also focuses on building strong partnerships with vendors and industry organizations to stay at the forefront of technological advancements and best practices. By implementing robust security protocols and training staff on best practices, they safeguard patient privacy and maintain trust in healthcare institutions.

Suman ascribes this success to his family – his wife, an engineer turned MBA, works at PopHealthcare and has always offered him invaluable support. As a proud father, he cherishes his son’s achievements in baseball and Cub Scouts, along with his delightful daughter. 

Their presence also drives Suman’s charitable endeavors:

• Actively volunteers to support schools through PGNF (Prakasam Global NRI Forum) and TANA.
