She has always believed that success comes at a price of hard work, shrewd thinking and dedication that ultimately culminates into business success. With the pandemic having tested the ingenuity, resilience and flexibility of the supply chain globally, she feels “As a business leader, we must make rapid decisions to sustain business operations to serve customers, clients and our communities, as well as protect our staff. We successfully helped our clients transform their logistics from offline to online while co-create business opportunities with brands and retailers through digital transformation campaign.”
For her leadership has a unique meaning which she elucidates that before becoming a leader one should focus on growing oneself. After becoming a leader success becomes implementing growth for others too. The most successful companies that have been instrumental in creating real and sustained value, focus more on having appreciable talent and a culture that caters to high performance. “To achieve deliverables in business results and talent development always stay on top of my mind; especially in logistics industries where males dominate,” says Suki.
When asked about believing in being in the rat race or being a tiger, she says “Being a tiger (at work) to me means helping others as a leader and finding ways to stay motivated and focus. Ones should always stay enthusiastic and have the courage to take on new tasks to compete with yourself. This is how I grow in the past 20 years with an entrepreneurship spirit.”
In her spare time, she enjoys challenges in Trail-walker and Marathons and shares an inspiring life mantra with the readers. She reflects on what ‘Passion’ means to her:
- Perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after the other
- Action is the only way to make progress
- Sustainable for work, life and our planet
- Success is sweet, but the secret is sweat
- Independent and always deliver more than expected
- Optimistic is the foundation of courage & true progress
- Never give up, nothing that lasts accomplished quickly”
