Nicholas N Bouri’s journey is nothing short of extraordinary. Born in Manhattan, NYC, USA, to a diverse heritage of Greek, American, and Lebanese roots, Nicholas’s early life was a global adventure. He spent his formative years in Athens, Greece, and Bucharest, Romania, leaving a mark on him that transcends borders.

Nicholas embarked on his academic journey attending University in Boston, however decided to complete his degree in Business Management from Degree College in Athens. His passion for learning led him to further heights, earning a Master’s degree from UQAM in Canada and another from Bucharest Business School and University of Economics. His thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there; Nicholas completed the MAP program at INSEAD in France. His impressive credentials also include certifications as a charter surveyor in Management Consultancy, RE Development, Project Management, Cement Manufacturing, Mineral Extractions, Cyber Security, and Port Management Operations, among others.

In 2004, Nicholas embarked on his professional journey in Greece by joining the accounting department of his family’s business, where he worked within their shipping division, “SEABULK SHIPPING”. He diligently balanced his professional endeavors with university studies, displaying a commitment to excellence. By 2007, his dedication saw him rise through the ranks to become an integral part of the management team, contributing to the company’s impressive annual profit of EUR 30 million.

Nicholas’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to Romania in 2007, where he joined his father in overseeing the family’s real estate development and mining company, NGB. Today, he holds the prestigious title of Partner in the company, working alongside his brothers. Under his astute leadership, NGB transformed from an asset holding company into a dynamic real estate development firm, with projects like a 50,000-square-meter logistic park and a promising pipeline of over 150,000 square meters of developments in Romania alone.

NGB also boasts AGREMIN, a thriving Aggregates mining, concrete, and building material company. With strategic mining sites across the region totaling over 300 hectares and 250 million tons in proven reserves, AGREMIN serves markets in Romania, Serbia, and Hungary.

In 2018, Nicholas founded Knightbridge International Group, a boutique consultancy firm which offers a variety of services in real estate and heavy industries. The firm has been awarded “Project Management Firm of the year 2023” by BUILD(UK) and “Management Consultancy Firm of the year 2023” by Wealth & Finance International. The firm offers a variety of services and has completed projects in Romania, Greece, Serbia, Ukraine, and Lebanon.

Nicholas’s ability to navigate the intricate balance between his professional and personal life is a testament to his resilience. In a family business, the line between work and personal life often blurs, but he understands the importance of allocating time to personal pursuits. Sailing, archery, martial arts, design, and globetrotting are some of the passions that keep his life in harmony.
