Melissa Ban is an Danish actress.
Born in Denmark on 25 December 1986.
Her mother is Danish and father from Iran. She currently lives in Los Angeles. She has film and theatre education from Copenhagen University. Melissa is multilingual and can converse in Danish, English, German and Farsi. She
has gained popularity on big screen and is popular for her roles in Roulette Series (2016), Fox Hunting (2008) and
Annunciation to a Third Millennium Citizen (2013).
Some of her work is appreciated as Danish films, like Women and music (Danish film 2005), directed by Kim Koch; Big Money, Desperate Life (Danish film 2004), directed by Derek; and It’s all about love (US-Danish film 2004), directed by Thomas Winterberg.

What do you like doing in your spare time?
Well while I am not shooting. I practice Yoga and Tai-chi. I also indulge in Spa, it is very healthy for the body.
Who is your celebrity crush? Are you single?
He is an Indian Actor, Mr Hrithik Roshan. Yes, I am single pretty much right now.
Would you date a fan?
Of course, I could date a fan, if I feel some chemistry & some connection, definitely it will be doable.
What’s your biggest pet peeve?
Currently, I am very annoyed with the Constant cell phone distraction.
What do you believe in more I.Q or E.Q? And Why?
To me having a high IQ is an Advantage, but EQ makes all difference to a career. Emotional Intelligence demonstrates our ability to manage our feelings and relationship, improved skills or social skills are associated with EQ, but IQ is also very good to possess.
Do you know or use the brands you endorse? How Legit is your view?
I try to know most of the brands I use. Of course, as an actor, it is important to learn about the brands, as much as I can I research about how it’s made, where it comes from. I prefer and choose brands that come from fair-trade countries, I feel that the internet makes it easier now than ever to read up on what we are using.
If you weren’t doing what you are doing, what it would be?
Well, without a doubt, I would be a formula one racer for sure, I love driving. It is like therapy for me.
What’s one of the most outrageous rumours’ you’ve heard about yourself lately?
That I was married, it was absurd as I am not even engaged yet, it was quite funny.
What is an upcoming project you are working on?
Oh ok, this is a little bit secret, watch my Instagram page to know more, I can’t talk about it yet!!
Who do you think is next in line in your industry & why?
I think the future of films, will be tilted towards gadgets, and computers, special effects. I think that it is brilliant
and does not cost much and the sky is the limit for editing and creating surreal final frames.
Are you watching “The Crown”? Your preferred Netflix?
Yes for the curiosity I am watching Crown. I love Netflix, it is an old trusted platform and gives me many options than the TV serials.
