Plant-Based Pioneer: Leading the Charge for a Sustainable, Compassionate Future
US based Kinjal Patel was a regular wife and mother. Post delivery, she faced the usual struggles of being overweight, back pain, acidity, heartburn and constipation, all of which she tried hard to cure with no results. However, a chance encounter with the Noom program helped her understand that it was more of a psychological issue than any other. Noom helped her understand healthy habits, mindful eating, intermittent fasting, yoga and meditation.
Within no time, Kinjal turned her life around, and became an advocate for a healthy lifestyle. Today, she is the proud Founder of the Global Wellness Platform – www.swasthyabykinjal.com as well as a Commity Member at World Vegan Vision. In addition, she is a Vegan Diet Expert, Sustainable Lifestyle Trainer, and Author.
“My passion is to inspire people to follow veganism (animal welfare, climate change, agriculture, environment crisis), self love, self care and self value. Having bad health after pregnancy led me to research and learn about how to heal myself. After finding success, I realised I could help others do the same!”
Born in India and based in Edison, New Jersey, Kinjal has a Masters in Biology and Published Thesis Research in Neuroscience. She has done a lot of volunteer work in different doctors’ facilities such as emergency medicine, internal medicine, radiology departments, and neuroscience. She worked as a lab assistant, technician, STEM summer program trainer, program coordinator, assistant professor, and drug safety specialist at Pfizer.
Yet, she discovered her passion only when she forayed into wellness almost a decade ago. Her professional portfolio now is about solving personal problems, such as not having proper health insurance, education, career, job, mental health, home, taxes, friends, family, healthy food, knowledge, self-love etc. The answer lies in knowing oneself and having confidence. The composition is within us – research, apply, act, learn, find passion, purpose of living, and self respect. Only by focusing on ourselves can we heal the whole system. The way energy flows.
“It’s funny that what we learn in school is completely opposite to what we are supposed to be doing. Learning who I am was really shocking; knowing what I am capable of, how to stay happy, knowing your inner self to heal mental trauma, purging old memories to step into the new reality of life, staying away from copy, compare and competition.. all the answers are within you, build up your intuition and cut corners from lies.”
For Kinjal, the path of wellness began in the kitchen. Passionate about cooking, she compiled her vegan recipes into her first book – Swasthya: Healthy Cookbook Recipes. She also utilised this time to go in depth into the field of wellness and ayurveda. She completed the 40 day challenge at Life-Force Academy, 30 day plan at Passion.io, 30 day course at Unblinded Mastery, and other certifications. She learned yoga, asana, pranayam, body type, yoga according to body type, and gunas.
Today, she is a seasoned expert in food and ayurveda, leading a health movement through her many initiatives. A Global Healthcare Entrepreneur, her programs suit each person’s needs, helping them achieve the best health possible. Most recently, she’s become a Commity Member at World Vegan Vision, where she communicates ways to live a vegan lifestyle without compromising essential needs for growth.
A global influencer, Kinjal’s on almost every social media, showcasing free videos on how to make vegan food from scratch, reviewing other vegan cuisines, traveling, trying and rating new products. She has a significant following and has helped thousands of people to get their life back to normal with positive energy, mindfulness, yoga, intuition, intermittent diet, positive affirmations, etc.
“People come up to me and say thank you for showing us your world and inspiring us. My free tips and tricks have been unbelievably helpful. A couple of Indian girls thanked me for teaching them skincare using natural ingredients from our kitchen. They all tell me that it doesn’t matter where we come from – our shape, size, race, color, or how old we are – my motivational post gives them the faith to work on themselves.”
Such heartening dedication has seen Kinjal honoured with many awards:

How does Kinjal choose her successful ventures, we ask her in wonder. “By listening to my intuition. Listening to others and having empathy, compassion and kindness towards their specific problems or situations. It helps me understand and differentiate between truth and lie. And then make a conclusion about any matter.”
Her personal hobbies include cooking, baking, creating new recipes, and making reels. She also enjoys video games, table tennis, tennis, swimming, spa and massages. All these physical activities help her raise her vibrations to see the bigger picture and move forward towards unconditional love and happiness.
Who or what else inspires Kinjal every day? “Music, movies, documentaries, and watching women warrior TV series. I was inspired by many women such as Selena Gomez, Kangana Ranaut, Rihanna, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Priyanka Chopra, Sridevi, Oprah, Taraji Henson, Viola Davis, Sushmita Sen, Lara Datta and others. My desire is to re-establish the meaning of ‘mother’ and bring back value and respect to
everyday use of materialism.. Animal welfare, sustainable lifestyle, climate change control, action on clean water supply, demand to make organic food cheaper, self grown food, vegan food competition show and much more.”
Sharing a meaningful message for all our readers, Kinjal says: “Believe in yourself no matter what, heal yourself first before healing others, find your passion and purpose in life. Start asking questions to yourself.. Find why you were born on this planet, and to achieve what?”
