Guiding light on the path of purification and healing
Avarea Alexander is a self-realized Master Teacher, dedicated to a lifetime of service to uplift the consciousness of humanity. Founder-Director at The Altar of Life Center as well as Heartstar Ministry Inc, her life’s work and practices have catalyzed the activation of innumerable souls and supported the cleansing and healing of countless individuals on their journey to wellness and holistic well being.
In the field for more than 2 decades, Avarea is a Licensed Minister, Spiritual Counselor, Midwife to Re-birthing Souls, Cleansing Specialist, Neuro-Linguistic Programming Master Practitioner, Breath-work Rebirth Facilitator, and Yoga Instructor (Tantra Yoga, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release Bodywork, Applied Kinesiology).
She comes with 25 years of devoted yogic practice, 20 years of cleansing and purification, 10 years of leading others, and expertise in massage: has worked with over 20,000 people. A published author, she combined all her wisdom into a guidebook based on her practices for self healing called ‘Awakening Through The Path of Purification’.
Reflecting on her journey, she says, “Through 25 years of devoted practice to healing, we have developed a guidance system that offers a multidimensional experience to uncover and unravel stuck, dense energy which re-youths and regenerates the entire body, mind, heart, and soul. Having worked with thousands of people over the last ten years utilizing these methods of internal, ritual purification with profound results and long lasting effect, we have been called to open and expand our message and ministry to share what has transformed the lives of many individuals. This is a collective clarion call to return home to our heart and source and let go of everything in the way of our wholeness and inherent radiance.”
Raised in New York, USA, early developmental abuse and trauma set Avarea to the task of soul retrieval and healing herself 25 years ago. Having a spontaneous kundalini life force awakening forced her to confront a very tumultuous and traumatic upbringing, uncovering many years and layers of trauma in the psyche and soma.
She went on a backpacking trip to Maui, Hawaii and upon hearing whale song for the first time, heard them say ‘don’t go’ and took it as a sign to stay in Maui. Depending on the kindness of strangers, she encountered one master teacher after another and learned the life arts of healing, rejuvenation, cleansing and purification, yoga and meditation, and has not stopped learning, growing, and evolving ever since, a great initiation onto the path of purification.
“I have met many masterful beings on my path who have inspired me in various ways. My ultimate inspiration is the profound grace that people afford me and their trust in me to guide them through the process of reclaiming their own sacred temple of the divine. My goal is to teach others what I do so that they may serve their community in turn.”
Avarea has spent 25 years in devoted, disciplined practice and has healed from many ‘ailments’ doctors told her she would be doomed for life with. She has re-youthed her body, healed traumatic injuries, and lives optimally in vital energy.
Based in Hawaii, she runs:
1. Heartstar Ministry Inc, a spiritual educational ministry to serve as many people as possible and remain pure and true to her dharma.
2. The Altar of Life Center, a non-profit spiritual purification center in Kauai.
Avarea’s strength has always been staying anchored in her practice and true to her methods. The challenge has been staying open to other points of view regarding her work while staying true to her own experiential knowledge, but she achieves this by staying rooted in her existence, anchored in her spiritual disciplines, authentic in her being, and kind to others.
In her personal time, she loves being in nature, walking on the beach with her great Dane, receiving a loving massage, meditating, singing mantras, and keeping a rhythm that enhances her life rather than a schedule that leaves her depleted.
An inspiring leader, Avarea loves to make others laugh, especially at ourselves. “Being light hearted is a great way of life. Most people tell me my methods are easy and fun. That is because learning happens best through enjoying the process. Each person is a unique individual and I treat them as such. I do not try to lead nor do I accept followers. I encourage others by pointing them in the direction of their own potential. I truly believe that each one of us has an infinite capacity for healing.”
