Growing up in a region experiencing rapid urbanization, Mohamad Rabih Itani saw both opportunities and challenges that sparked his passion for smart and sustainable development. After years of learning and extensive work in the field, today Mohamad is the Partner Head of Residential Project Sales & Marketing at Knight Frank MENA (Middle East and North Africa).
In addition, he is a Member – Senior Consultant in Marketing & Business Management for the European Arab Business & Fellowship Foundation. His portfolio includes launching successful master-planned communities, and establishing companies across three continents. His expertise spans real estate development, smart city solutions, and hospitality sectors, consistently focusing on innovation and sustainable growth in emerging markets.

My goal is to continue pioneering innovative real estate solutions that merge technology with traditional values, particularly in Saudi Arabia’s evolving landscape. I aim to shape communities that not only meet current needs but anticipate and adapt to future lifestyle changes.”
Currently based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Mohamad obtained his MBA business from Lebanese American University and has a MSC in Global Smart City Management from University of Barcelona, which equipped him with unique insights into future urban development.
Over two decades, he had the privilege of working across GCC, Far East, and Spain, each experience adding new dimensions to his expertise. Every role reinforced his belief that successful real estate development must combine market understanding with technological innovation.

Mohamad’s key strength lies in adaptability and strategic vision – he can quickly analyze market dynamics and pivot strategies accordingly. However, his perfectionist tendencies can sometimes slow decision-making as he strives for optimal solutions. A holistic leader, Mohamad doesn’t believe in all work and no play. He fits in a 30 minute walk every morning and evening, which helps clear his mind and boost energy level. Reading too is a daily ritual – he particularly enjoys biographies and books on emerging market trends, giving him fresh perspectives. During weekends, he unwinds by watching TV series and films.
Even though he makes it look easy, how does Mohamad balance his professional and personal life? “I maintain balance by treating time as my most valuable asset. Early mornings set a positive tone for my day. I delegate effectively and prioritize tasks, focusing on high impact activities. Regular breaks for reflection and physical activity keep me energized. Most importantly, building relationships is the key to my success. Networking with industry leaders and keeping track of international changes in real estate have become a habit.”
Mohamad specializes in creating comprehensive marketing and sales strategies that embrace digital transformation while maintaining a human-centric approach. He believes success in real estate or any other field comes from continuous learning, adaptability, and building genuine relationships.
