Redefining Human-Centric AI for a Global Future

In an era of AI being equated with disruption, unicorn valuations, and funding binges, there is one startup that is taking a different path. Venkata Ravella, Founder & CEO of The Lavence Group®, and founder of Violetis®, an AI-native ecosystem, is showing that innovation need not take precedence over humanity.
Unlike startups in pursuit of aggressive ad expenses and VC-fueled expansion.

Venkata’s story starts miles away from the shining centers of global technology. Born into poverty, he lived in conditions of shortage, which instilled in him grit and determination. “I learned very early the importance of determination,” he remembers.

An early interest in computers and problem-solving led to his first IT role, a crossroads that would lead him to global companies like Weir Group, Siemens, and Meta. During the next 14 years, he developed expertise in software engineering, leadership, and innovation. It provided him with front-row seating for the explosive rise of AI but also bolstered his belief that technology was evolving at a rate that overwhelmed ethics.

I needed to do something meaningful, rooted in inclusivity,” he explains. That belief translated into The Lavence Group®, with headquarters located in the UK, and its flagship platform, Violetis®.

Violetis® is not an individual product but a thriving, self-optimizing ecosystem built to grow across industries. It powers five foundational verticals: Recruitment, Workplace Collaboration, Commerce, Identity, and Cloud Infrastructure.

In hiring, the platform breaks out of keyword search to spot genuine talent and eliminate biases that shortlist deserving candidates. For teams, it offers collaboration capabilities that liberate, not intimidate. In business and identity management, its underpinning is trust and security. Its infrastructure, meanwhile, is cloud-based and transforms effortlessly to organizational requirements.

“AI is great, but power without empathy can be hazardous,” Venkata adds. “Our vision through Violetis® is to create technology that makes the playing field more level and provides opportunities where they can best be utilized.”

In contrast to much AI technology constructed to replace the work of humans, Violetis® is engineered to grow human capacity. Supported by investor partnerships for a £1 billion innovation strategy, the platform is set to go global, while remaining steadfast to its ethical core.

Most startups pursue growth at the cost of burning through investor capital. Venkata has avoided that path consciously. “We’ve followed a steady, self-funded trajectory,” he explains. “It disciplines you. We can’t burn money to fuel ego growth, so we focus on loyalty, repeat business, and trust.”

This strategy reflects design-first companies such as Freedom Tree, which scaled without compromising their fundamentals. For Violetis®, it has translated into steady ground in markets such as healthcare, education, and recruitment, sectors where ethics in AI is not a choice but a necessity.

Venkata’s leadership philosophy is as unique as his product. In The Lavence Group, hierarchy plays second fiddle while teams are encouraged to take ownership of ideas, test and try, and be driven towards a common cause. “Technology is only as strong as the people behind it,” says he.

Venkata’s values-based practice has won him accolades across borders. He received the CREA Global 500 Award, honouring his impact on technology and entrepreneurship, and the Great Entrepreneur Award for his AI-based solutions.
He is also a highly sought-after keynote speaker at international AI and technology conferences, where he speaks out for ethical innovation, diversity, and inclusion. Perhaps most notably, he has led Violetis® to achieve partnerships for its billion-pound innovation strategy, proof that international investors are starting to place a premium on responsibility alongside scale.

Behind the businessman is a family man who is thoroughly rooted by his wife Krishnaveni and two children, Devaansh and Ira. “They are the ones who remind me why I do what I do,” he says.
Despite his hectic work schedule, he makes balance a priority, whether playing with the kids, going for long walks, or reading voracious books.

Venkata’s path from modesty to scale is instructive: grit is as important as vision, consistent growth endures longer than splashy metrics, and authentic leadership involves enabling others, not merely positioning oneself.
“My advice is simple,” he says. “Surround yourself with people who believe in you, stay curious, and never lose sight of the human impact behind your work.”

The path forward for Violetis® is ambitious but pragmatic. Venkata sees it as an international leader in ethical AI, disrupting industries and establishing trust in technology as a whole. “Technology shouldn’t replace humans, it should make them better,” he insists.

Amid a world of hype, Venkata Ravella is unique in his intention and purpose. From modest origins to worldwide recognition, he has demonstrated that resilience, empathy, and vision can convert challenges into possibilities, turning code into culture and innovation into a force based on inclusion and trust.
As Violetis® marches toward its billion-pound ambition, Venkata remains convinced of one thing: The future of technology needs to be for all.
