The quantities and paths everyone should learn in mathematics

The answer varies from person to person!

For students with higher mathematical literacy, there are 2 options. The first is to learn mathematics and Mathematical Olympiad at the same time. While laying a good foundation in mathematics, use the Mathematical Olympiad to further improve spatial sense and thinking ability. Second, you can quickly learn mathematics from elementary school to high school level, then start learning college-level mathematics early, and then learn Olympiad mathematics according to your personal interests. This is because college-level mathematics, which is more difficult to learn at a younger age, is easier for students to absorb, while Olympiad mathematics in primary and secondary schools is easier than college-level mathematics and can be learned after the peak learning age has passed.

For students with low mathematical literacy, it can be determined based on the mathematical knowledge required for the career that the individual hopes to pursue in the future. For example, if you thought math was difficult when you were a child, you could slow down your learning or even stop learning math. Once you know that you will be a barber, and barbers only need to complete elementary-level mathematics, you can catch up when you are a teenager and complete elementary-level studies before becoming a barber.

Therefore, teachers should identify students with higher mathematical understanding, encourage, and provide early training. For other students, we should also guide them to plan for the future, let them know how much mathematics they ultimately need to learn and find the motivation to learn mathematics well from the most fundamental needs. As for schools, more flexible timetables can be developed to allow students to better develop the abilities they need. On the other hand, the Global Mathematics and Mathematics Olympiad Graded Assessment Test with Competition will meet the needs of all students and give appropriate certification.
