Madhavi has emerged as an award-winning Global Software Engineering Leader, recognized with the 2024 Silver Globee Award for Technology, LinkedIn Top AI Voice and International Achiever’s Award to name a few. Madhavi serves as a Strategic AI Advisory Board member for Ashland University, Ohio State Ambassador for Women in AI.
When Madhavi Najana began her professional journey from a small town in Andhra Pradesh, little did she know that one day, she would be distinguished as a Women’s Leader in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) across the world. Her goal is to mentor and empower the next generation of tech leaders, particularly women in STEM.
Based in the United States, she’s currently the Software Engineering Manager, at Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, USA. Madhavi worked with leading organizations like Accenture, BMW Group Financial Services, and Microsoft before joining the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati. With over 18 years of experience focusing on software engineering and technological innovation, she has extensive experience in developing and architecting applications across various domains. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in these technologies, processes, and best practices.
Madhavi holds an MBA from Xavier University, USA, a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering, and a Master of Computer Applications from Acharya Nagarjuna University, India. She earned certifications in various cutting-edge technologies and Leadership.
“Each challenge has been a learning opportunity, reinforcing the importance of adaptability and continuous improvement. These experiences have not only honed my technical skills but also deepened my commitment to driving positive change and inspiring others in the tech community.”
However, there is no success without challenges. Throughout her career, Madhavi has faced numerous challenges including staying abreast of rapid technological advancements, and balancing innovation with security.
Coming from a small town, her grandparents and Mom paved way for her education, she is the first-generation women from her family to do higher education. Her family believed in her abilities and has been a source of strength – her in-laws and husband supported continuing Masters and to work after marriage. Which was an inspiration for many women who wanted to stand up for themselves and their family. Her husband SatyaNarayana Najana who has been her great mentor offering unwavering encouragement and understanding during challenging times, has always put her forefront.

Yet, a firm believer in the power of hard work over luck, Madhavi says that consistent effort, continuous learning, and resilience, are the true drivers of success. Her own journey underscores the importance of perseverance and a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles and achieving excellence.
Madhavi provides substantial contributions to society and inspire women to take up STEM. Madhavi is dedicated to promoting ethical AI adoption, ensuring responsible innovation, and setting industry standards for AI implementation. She has played a key role in building AI collaboration ecosystems, fostering partnerships and resource-sharing to enhance innovation and efficiency.
Her contributions to technology in various roles, from serving on panels like the USA DC: AI Summit – Generative AI & Finance, International Applied Artificial Intelligence (AAI) conference Speaker, Cincy AI Week – Host Committee member, Panelist, Society of Women Engineers – SWE Next Awards Judge, Ohio Academy of Science, USA – Ohio State Science Day Judge, Globee Awards Judge, shows her long-standing commitment to pushing technological boundaries. Madhavi’s dedication earned her the IEEE Senior Membership, Society of Women Engineers Senior Membership and AI 2030 Fellowship. Beyond her professional work, Madhavi has research papers published in emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering and Fintech showcasing her thought leadership in these domains.
