In a world increasingly run by technology, there are few trailblazers like Logan Formicola who’re guiding global innovations to make our lives futuristic as well as sustainable. An award-winning Tech Innovator, Logan is also a Thought Leader, Draftsman, Website Designer, and Founder/CEO of Eagle Star Dynamics (ESD), USA.
Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, Logan had many technological ideas as a young child at the age of 5. As he began to do modifications on computers starting around 11 with custom builds, these ideas began to expand. His unique talent came to the fore when he placed 1st in the Science Fair 8th Grade by building a custom PC from scratch. He then attended Arkansas Tech and the University of Arkansas – Little Rock.
A supportive family and friends in Maumelle helped Logan foster good values in life. He was blessed with a tough father, who forced him to excel in different fields of his interest while growing up. As a result, his career involved various jobs from a young age. At 16, he interned with a medical device company where he updated programmers to ensure the code and firmware functioned properly. This sparked his interest in technology as he was able to watch it help patients. It also led him to start a computer building business for friends and family. He then moved to Minarat Impex as an Import Manager, where he learned key skills in upper-level management and diplomacy. It was after this role that he began to draft, and found his true passion.
A spark of ingenuity and passion led Logan to create Eagle Star Dynamics (ESD) in 2021. “I often had ideas of more advanced computer fans back in the early 2000s that match the designs of fan blades today. This was one of several key points where I realized my ideas were ahead of the curve and the inherent value would only grow as Web3 began to take hold. I thus began to draft all of my ideas after receiving praise from an esteemed alternative energy researcher and engineer.”
Successfully established more than two years ago with international operations, the primary goal of ESD is to drive innovation for Smart Cities, Web3, and Blockchain by providing cutting-edge Professional, Scientific, Technical, or Drafting services. The company’s goal is to advance humanity through sheer innovation and create a unique VR atmosphere for the learning and sharing of ideas in a Web3 VR-based tokenized system that provides incentives for learning. This would greatly enhance world progress and education simultaneously.
Leading the tech revolution from the front, Logan’s appetite for business is driven by the passion he’s developed after many years of tenacity and perseverance. It is further fueled by being able to make a direct impact on the progress of innovation in the world through the services of his company. “All of the most advanced technologies that exist before us today would not be available if it weren’t for the ideas behind them. Ideas are the ultimate foundation to what perpetuates world progress and act as building blocks to the technological landscape that is before us.”
A versatile super-achiever, Logan’s unique ideas and a sharp skill set led to the AR Tech Collegiate Scholar Award for Leadership and Service. He has also been featured in Entrepreneurs Herald, Forbes NY, The NYC Journal, and Disruptors Magazine. He played a part in helping to establish a tradeline between the USA and Pakistan during the war in Afghanistan, and met with a Congressman and leaders of industry in DC to help promote the concept of Web3 for e-patents.
Throughout his arduous journey, ‘perseverance’ has been Logan’s greatest strength. Despite the many great obstacles he faced, he never gave up on his overall vision. “I feel the best way to face challenges is to break them down onto paper or word documents, and prioritize. I block schedule to allow for higher output of advanced ideas during my work hours. I then take breaks to allow my body to relax and gain momentum for the next work block. I’ve also found that mindfulness meditation and Tai Chi can be very helpful as well.”
Today, Logan is in a position to drive innovation on a worldwide scale. He has a vast portfolio of technical drafts and blue prints reviewed by engineers that can drive this momentum. Beyond this, he serves as a great inspiration to newer generations.
Logan reveals that his goal is to help create a more self-sustainable world through cutting-edge renewable energy technologies, aviation, software development services, and graphic design. His ultimate wish is to benefit humanity and help usher in a new age of technological progress and learning through a unique VR learning app.
