Gulshan’s inspiration traces back to a painful memory from his school years. In 10th grade, he was humiliated and removed from computer class for not being able to grasp MS-DOS, largely because he couldn’t afford expensive computer lessons. “That exclusion scarred me for years,” he admits. Later in life, when his personal data was compromised, the sting of that helplessness returned, but this time he resolved to change the story.
“I decided no one should ever be denied access to knowledge, opportunity, or protection,” he says. That conviction continues to fuel his mission: building inclusive technologies that empower rather than exclude.
Resilience, he says, is his greatest strength. Every setback, whether classroom humiliation or cybercrime was channelled into innovation. Yet his biggest challenge has been overcommitting. “When I see a problem, I feel compelled to fix it, even at personal cost,” he admits. Over time, he has learned that true impact lies not in solving every issue but in focusing on the right ones with clarity and purpose.
This blend of resilience and balance defines his approach to both business and life.
For Gulshan, balance is not about dividing time between work and life, but about integrating them around a singular mission: to educate, empower, and elevate. He ensures time for family, reflection, and health, recognizing that resilience is cultivated as much in the living room as in the boardroom.
He unwinds through reading, writing, long walks, and music, often composing his own melodies. Mentoring young professionals is another source of joy, something he describes as “less like work and more like renewal.” For him, relaxation is not escape, but recharging through creativity, reflection, and connection.

“I want people to see that adversity is not an obstacle, it’s raw material for building resilience and creativity,” he says. For him, leadership is about aligning individuals to a larger mission and ensuring that innovation uplifts humanity.
“To every reader, I want to say this,” Gulshan shares: “Never let humiliation, failure, or rejection convince you that you are not enough. I was once pulled out of a computer class and told technology wasn’t for me. Years later, when cybercrime shattered my life, I had every reason to give up, but I chose to begin again.”
He reminds us that scars can become sources of strength. “The world doesn’t change because of the powerful, it changes because ordinary people refuse to stop trying.”
